I am reminded of the great classic movie "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" made in 1939... when Senator Smith (Jimmy Stewart) gave a speech at his swearing-in ceremony, he complimented about his fellow Senator, Senator Payne, and he recalled what his father had once said about Senator Payne many years before.  The Honorable Senator Smith repeated those words and said "Senator Payne was one of the finest men he had ever known" I am reminded of Darren Benevento when I hear that line in the movie...because over the past 45 years that I have known him, that's the description of what Darren is and has always been about.  So when it comes to a mans word, Darren's is stronger than Oak!

I have been a friend of Darren’s since 2002, and he has done extensive upgrades for me such as moving my main power breaker box. His work is always completed thoroughly at every aspect for what the job entails. I have always described him as a courteous, fair priced, honest and a knowledgeable professional in his business as an electrician.

When I was in third grade we were making fathers day plaques, now there was every possible sports/hobby stencil sitting on that rug. I told my teacher “my daddy doesn’t like these things” and her reply was “well honey, what does he like? And I told her “my daddy just likes to hammer things”… so she laughed and made a hammer and nails stencil!
When I was little I knew if something broke, my daddy would fix it, whether it was the apple I thought would be fun to flush down the toilet, the twirling baton I shoved down some pipe in the lawn, the occasional “accidental” hole in the wall…or when I bought my first house in 2010… that was defiantly “broken” (quite the fixer upper) my father helped us make it look as close to new as our budget would allow us to…the mortgage inspector was in awe at the amount of work we had gotten done in 6 months by ourselves! We were able to double our house value with his knowledge, guidance and work ethic.
